An Edwardian silver shield design napkin clip, nicely decorated with engraved leafy motifs. There is a blank cartouche to the centre which could be engraved with initials for that personal touch. This silver clip is neat and functional with a sprung clip at the front to hold the napkin olus a hook at the back to affix to clothing.
Fully hallmarked as sterling silver, Birmingham 1905, with the silver maker's mark for William Vale & Sons.
