A lovely Victorian solid silver cream jug with flared spout, and pretty handle, standing on one circular foot. This jug is a small size, very nicely proportioned with a wide diameter width: 6.6 cm. The repousse detailing around the body of the jug is quite exquisite with flowers, scrolls & shell designs. Underneath the very clear hallmarks are visible for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1895 and Lion Passant, the maker's mark is also very clear and crisp: Pairpoint Brothers.
A super jug, would grace any tea tray beautifully.
