A lovely, cased, plain polished silver egg cup and spoon set, great as a gift for a new baby. The egg cup has a ridged foot and a warm gilt interior, and the set is engraved with the initial L to both the egg cup and spoon. Each item bears the hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office; a date mark for 1977; the Queens silver jubilee mark and the Lion Passant mark indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker's mark is for W I Broadway & Co.
Both silver and case are in great condition (some very slight wear to the case commensurate with age and only mentioned for complete accuracy).
