A beautiful silver enamel butterfly brooch by the Norwegian silversmith Aksel Holmsen. The brooch is in the form of a butterfly, its wings enamelled in the most stunning yellow colour with a black body. The brooch is in sterling silver with a light warm gilt coating. On the back are the marks for Aksel Holmsen - Norway Sterling 925s, and there is a good fastening pin. A gorgeous brooch, great for a collector of vintage Norwegian designer jewellery or butterflies.
