A pretty solid silver toast rack for four slices, the rack comprising of five heart shapes with a neat circular handle on the top. It sits on four sturdy ball feet.
The toast rack bears hallmarks for the Birmingham Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1911 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. (The makers mark is worn but could be S & B.)
It is a nice size with clean lines in a classic style that works well for antique or modern interiors. It would make a lovely valentine or wedding gift.
