A charming Art Deco design stamp case in the form of an envelope. The decoration on the stamp case is formed of alternating bands of smooth and finely engraved stripes in a typical Art Deco style, and there is a smooth circular cartouche on the front. The envelope flap is hinged and opens smoothly revealing space inside for one or two vintage stamps. There is a small chain loop to one edge.
Marked 'Sterling silver' to the inside of the case.
Both the hinge and the catch work very smoothly, and this dainty case is finely made throughout.
