A novel Edwardian pin tray in solid sterling silver. Interesting decoration which features a black enamel spade from suit of cards. This lovely tray has a neat gadrooned border. Hallmarks are visible to the inside of the tray for the London Assay office, with a date mark for 1907, along with the Lion Passant indicating finest sterling silver and maker's mark for the renowned silversmiths: Goldsmiths & Silversmith. The tray is also stamped on the underneath 'Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co, 12 Regent Street W'.
Fabulous gift for a card player.
