Silver vine leaf Brandy label hallmarked Birmingham 1850 Yapp & Woodward.
An attractive Victorian solid silver vine leave decanter label with attached chain. The vine leaf design is nicely fashioned with fine modelling and detail, with the word 'brandy' pierced into the silver.
Clear hallmarks are visible on the front of the label for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1850, the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker's marks for Yapp and Woodward.
A most attractive label, this would make a fine addition to any drinks cabinet and would look splendid on the dining table at Christmas!
