Stunning silver claret jug with classic clean lines and a simple elegance. The clear glass body tapers gently outwards and the base has a star cut pattern. A silver collar tops the glass and the covered spout, hinged lid and silver handle are all in smooth polished silver. The handle is square edged rounding out to the underside of the handle for a comfortable grip on the jug which has a good solid weight.

A beautiful Edwardian jug with timeless elegance.

Hallmarked as silver with marks for Birmingham 1906 by John Grinsell & Sons.

Condition is very good with just a couple of small scratches to the glass just below the spout. The silver has some superficial marks commensurate with age.
