An excellent Victorian solid silver ladle. Decorated in the Queen's pattern to both the front and the back of the handle. An initial S is engraved to the back of handle and a lovely shell detail adds interest to the reverse of the bowl.
A good heavy gauge silver and in super condition. Great as a wedding or anniversary gift, this ladle would grace any dining situation beautifully.
Very clear silver hallmarks and maker's mark for London 1892, John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater.
