A lovely Victorian solid silver Ladle. The handle of the ladle has a lovely beaded edging with a lightly engraved monogram to the top. On the back are the clear hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1885, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the maker's mark:  John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater.
