A lovely Victorian solid silver ladle. The handle of the ladle has a lovely beaded edging with a lightly engraved monogram to the top. On the back are the clear hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1885, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the maker's mark: John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater.
This is a lovely heavy gauge silver ladle and is in great condition.
