Gorgeous, vintage necklace by the Danish silver jewellery designer Volmer Bahner. The necklace features eight guilloche enamel curves which alternate with small enamelled teardrops, interlinked with chain loops. The colour of the enamel is a stunning rich red, making this a very sophisticated collar, which sits very elegantly: perfect for a cocktail party! The necklace is stamped on the back of the central heart for Volmer Bahner 'VB Sterling Denmark'.
Volmer Bahner (1912 - 1995) worked with enamelled jewellery during the period 1962 - 1988.
