A handsome vintage cut glass vase with silver rim hallmarked Birmingham 1926. With cut glass decoration around the body in diamond and star burst patterns and a nice sequence of cut ellipses lower down which add interest and also aid grip. The vase has heavy rounded base for stability and the star cut pattern underneath is magnified and reflected to great effect. A smooth silver rim adds a touch of class to this very usable vase, which is a perfect size for a large posy or a few choice roses.
Hallmarked as silver Birmingham 1926 with makers mark for Herbert Scott Murdoch.
