A fabulously designed, arts & crafts,  solid silver tea strainer made by the renowned designer Omar Ramsden, considered the master of 20th century silverware.  This highly collectable tea strainer stands on three sturdy ball feet.  Three circles form the handle on one side and a lovely lily flower incorporated in a beautiful organic shape forms the other handle.    The hallmarks are clearly visible on one side for Omar Ramsden, assayed in London and dated 1936.  It is also engraved with the Latin inscription 'Omar Ramsden Fecit ' (meaning Omar Ramsden Made me').

An outstanding tea strainer aesthetically pleasing to the eye and revealing wonderful craftmanship and design, very collectable being an Omar Ramsden original piece.

Condition:  In super condition.  A good heavy gauge of silver very lightly planished to produced a matt effect - superb for a collector!
