A lovely whisky noggin or whisky tot in an unusual shape. The jug is footed and has a nicely rounded ewer shape, making it a little different from the more typical whisky noggin design, which generally has a conical shape and a flat base.

The rim is cased with a smooth silver collar and an elegant spout and a flat hinged silver lid with decorative thumb catch tops off the elegant design. An elegant curved handle with perfect proportions and a smooth based circular foot add finishing touches.

The perfect gift for someone who enjoys a tot of whisky in style or a super little jug for any occasion.

Hallmarks: the silver collar is fully hallmarked as sterling silver, Birmingham 1887, with makers mark for Hirons & Plante. The lid is stamped M R & S  plus A B Dn on the inside with part marks on the outside.

Condition. The silver is in lovely antique condition and the glass is free from cracks or chips with just some minor surface wear.

Measurements: Height from base to thumb catch 13 cm. Maximum circumference 25cm. Weight: 189 grams

All measurements are approximate.
